MOAB, UT

Community Rebuilds' roots are solidly in Moab. Born out of a need for more affordable housing in this budding tourism community, the first CR home was built in 2010. Since that time, our presence and capacity have grown seemingly exponentially. In 2021 we set a new goal of building 12 homes annually, and in early 2022 we will complete our 52nd home in Moab. We could not have come this far without the support of this special community.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING NEED

With Arches and Canyonlands National Parks located right outside Moab's city limits, Grand County, UT is becoming an increasingly desirable place to live. With more and more people buying property, the imbalance in supply and demand has made it challenging to find a home on the market for under $300,000, making homeownership nearly impossible for many of Moab's vital community members. For more information about the affordable housing need in Moab, check out the Moab Area 2017 Affordable Housing Plan.

WANT TO OWN A HOME IN MOAB?

If you have lived in Moab for at least two years, you could be eligible to build with Community Rebuilds. The other initial eligibility requirement is that you are considered low or very-low income. Click here to see the current income limits for Grand County, UT set by USDA Rural Development.

Do you fall in that range? Get started on your application for the Community Rebuilds Homeownership Program. Struggling to afford a home, but above the income limit? Deductions may be applicable, so we strongly encourage you to still apply.
