Mini Pop-Up Restores

Time: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Location: 150 S 200 E Moab, UT 84532

Housed in a very special corner of our campus affectionately known as the Bone Yard, the Pop-Up ReStore gives salvaged building materials and gently used goods a second chance at life outside the landfill. Construction and building materials account for a massive 11% of total carbon emissions annually, a whopping 3,993,000,000 tons in 2021. The Pop-Up ReStore provides an avenue for construction and furnishing projects to gather materials without contributing to that tremendous carbon output. All funds go directly towards furthering Community Rebuilds' affordable housing efforts.

Donations

If your build project ended with surplus materials, your home remodel removed usable appliances that aren't suiting your needs, or that much beloved dining room table is being replaced with something more your style, we would like to offer the Pop-Up ReStore as a refuge for your reusable refuse! Community Rebuilds is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which means your donation is lifting the burden on landfills and your taxes, just ask for a tax receipt when you're dropping off your goods.

Due to our staff and storage capacity, we are unable to accept all materials. If you have an item included on the list below that you would like to donate, email sustainable@communityrebuilds.org with photos and a description of your materials to schedule a time to drop them off.

Please note- this list is a guideline. The only way to know if we are able to accept a donation is to contact us ahead of time. All donations must be accepted in person by a Community Rebuilds team member. Dropping items off after hours or without approval puts a strain on our resources.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hearing from you!
